What To Do Now

WTDN Logo

“What To Do Now” is a social enterprise project helping young people who are looking for opportunities, find opportunities.

With so many options and opportunities available for young people we have discovered it is a minefield to navigate. We have therefore pulled it all together in one useful spot. Our 11 year old network of businesses, community organisations & education providers has come together to make sense of these amazing opportunities for all young people in our communities.

We are firm believers that “It Takes A Community” to raise a child. Central to that belief is partnership working to help make sense of the options. Working together to create easy to understand pathways to new opportunities, we will make it easier to work out “What To Do Now”.

Love Is Kind

Love Is Kind Banner.jpg

With domestic abuse at an all time high across our borough, Love Your Doorstep set up a campaign call "Love Is Kind". The campaign was targeted at the general community to raise awareness of domestic abuse happening in our community.

In the year ending September 2020 there were 6,374 Domestic Abuse Incidents in Enfield, compared to 5,853 in the previous year, an increase of 8.9%

The profits of T-shirts were sold for two local charities: The Enfield Womens Centre & Enfield Saheli to help them with the important work they do in educating and re-homing families suffering from abuse.

This campaign has been the biggest locally highlighting domestic abuse in our community.

Local residents, businesses and schools have got involved to spread the "Love Is Kind" message and help raise funds.

If we see an issue locally, we work hard to raise the profile and come up with ideas to help.

We are very proud of this campaign. and how the community embraced it.
